How to be a douche
Step 1) Acquire a job as a "Social Media Guy" (yea, you read that right...and we wonder why our country has such a defecit)
Step 2)When said newspaper has a silly, fun blog on strange food and someone (keeping with the theme of "silly" and "fun") posts a comment you deem vulgar, report offender's joke to his/her job
Step 3)Post a follow-up blog telling everyone about your awesome work
Step 4) Get your ass chewed on by commenters who disagree
Step 5) Close commenting on the site to make sure you don't get more butt-hurt than you already are
Yes, Kurt Greenbaum, you're a douche. Congratulations on using the job of a "reporter" (quotes because I can't air-quote online) to sanction people's freedom of speech.

Thoughts from my desk
I'm starting to really dislike a lot of the people I work with. Ok, so I'm not really "starting" per se, but my dislike is growing at an alarming rate. And this isn't a tale of personality differences. I accept that there see people I'm not going to get along with. Rather, this is about people who can't act their age.
People are childish and ignorant. One person is only happy when someone is getting in trouble; another can only function when everyone knows how dysfunctional her life (both personal and professional) is; others gossip like they're still in high school.
I don't understand why everyone wants life to be miserable. Why do they have to act this way?

ACORN - Apparently Pimpin' IS Easy
Ok, let's forget about all the allegations of voter fraud. Let's move on to a new topic. Let's say you want to open a whorehouse - but you hate all the rules and regulations and taxes. What do you do?

I finally agree with Obama
Well, it was bound to happen...I finally agree with something the President said. To be fair it isn't about anything political, and I bet pretty much everyone feels the same way he does.

Odin Typing - Part 2
Sal's back. And this time he's brought us a video of how easy it is to type on the Storm 2 - in landscape mode.

No Click?
Sal's up to it again! He's got a new video showing a new 9520 NOT clicking. It looks like you still have to press "harder" to select an item, but it doesn't have the same click as the 9500/9530. Wanna see for yourself?
And check out his ColorWare Tour in the background.

5 Reasons the Storm 2 is better than the Storm 1
It looks like our pal Salomondrin has a new video out. This one's about the Blackberry Storm 2/Odin/9550/9520 - and why it rocks the Storm 1's world.

Letter to Coworkers
Look, I don’t understand what is so hard to understand about “DO NOT TALK OVER THE CUBES”. It seems pretty clear cut. Maybe you don’t understand the issue, which is almost fair as it is multifaceted.
1) NO ONE CARES
2) No one wants to listen to what you have to say
3) You are both idiots that never say anything of any consequence
4) Neither of you have anything to offer to the world
5) One of you is a miserable hag and the other asks the STUPIDEST questions I’ve ever heard
So, in conclusion, please adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by a variety of people in managerial (or similar) positions in this company, including your boss.
Thank you.

Apparently "Supreme Court" is Latin for stupid
The Supreme Court just ruled that raping a child does not warrant the death penalty. Are you serious? How is that possible? How do 5 of the 9 officials who are given the highest judicial power in the country and are charged with ensuring that justice prevails think that raping a child isn't a forfeiture of one's life? And here's the kicker: they said that the death penalty for child rape would not only be excessive, but that it would go against the 8th Amendments (no cruel or unusual punishment). Justice Anthony Kennedy (or Satan's right hand man), claimed to have been thinking of the nation's "evolving standards of decency" when he cast his vote against capital punishment.
Here is the USA Today story

I've got a question for you...
Does anyone watch the Tyra Banks Show? (A show described on the Warner Brother's website as giving "young women the 'girlfriend' they want to hang out with and the role model they need.") While I have never seen an entire episode, I have seen bits and pieces and I feel as though the world would be a better place if Ms. Banks was no longer part of it or, at the very least, no longer allowed to speak. What do you think? I would love to hear your opinions on the matter.

There's a first time for everything...
So I've decided to start a blog, although I'm not entirely sure why I'm doing this or what I'm looking to get out of it. I guess part of me wants to share my words of "wisdom" with the world on a larger scale than I currently do (i.e. talking). Also, my boss has asked me to find out if there's a way to use a blog to advertise a product/company. Although I'm pretty sure there is a way, I'm not really sure how to go about doing so. (sidenote: I feel like I'm writing a letter to my 4th grade pen pal, a boy across the country whom I never met, and never really knew what ask/tell about our respective lives.) So, if anyone has any hints or tips about blogging for either personal use or for a business purpose, feel free to share them. Just remember, I'm really new to this so please leave any tips as though you were teaching a child to cook spaghetti (yea, random metaphor).
